Produces: I
am still producing Israeli Melons, Black-eyed Peas and Purple
Hull peas when the weather permits.
Certification:
I am no longer Certified Organic, just Organic.
Market: I sell
my melons wherever I can, Farmer's Markets for resale or to the
public, Tree of Life, Local stores and locally off the truck.
They taste so good that I have no trouble getting rid of them.
The peas are pick-your-own. I have built up a clientele that is
usually still wanting peas when they are all gone. I will pick
the occasional bushel for twice the price of pick-your-own for
individuals who like picking peas less than I do. The older I
get the higher the price of the peas I pick. Usually one ad in
the local paper to tell the people when the peas will be ready
then a phone call sells the peas.
